The Education Program provides suicide awareness and intervention training, through a variety of programs on recognizing and helping people at risk for suicide. Training and education is provided to schools, businesses, community groups, organizations and the general public. The SPCS Role Players, with individuals from ages 14 to 90, perform lively role plays to highlight issues and engage audiences. This interactive theater help audiences talk about difficult issues impacting their lives. A new training program has been implemented that is called Volunteer Educators. This program is available for all those that wish to volunteer for SPCS and learn more about the agency, the work, and suicide prevention.

ACE programs are designed to open students' minds to the idea of college in their future and to help them begin to dream about what kind of career they would like to have. Events are provided throughout the school calendar year including the following summer and are hosted by the various schools and Colleges in the ACE consortium. The programs are each designed for specific ages/grades to attend throughout high school. Some programs are designed for 'students only' while the majority are specifically designed for both students and their parents to attend.

The Child Care Center serve students and staff of the college, New York state employees and alumni and community. The center has eight classrooms: two infant rooms, a waddler room, two toddler rooms and three preschool rooms with infant, toddler and preschool playgrounds directly outside the building with covered patios for rainy day play. Daily activities and routines are geared to promote development of children cognitively, physically, socially and emotionally. Tuition assistance is available to income eligible students.
